An Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC), also called an IBC tote or IBC tank, is a reusable industrial container for transporting and storing bulk liquids and granulated materials. It sits between drums and tanker trucks in size.
The most common IBCs hold 275 or 330 gallons (about 1,040 or 1,250 liters). A rigid galvanized steel cage protects an inner bottle, usually made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and the whole unit sits on a pallet base so a forklift can move it.
A 275-gallon IBC holds as much as five 55-gallon drums on a footprint close to a standard 48" x 40" pallet, which makes it efficient to store and ship.

Understanding Used IBC Grades
Used IBCs are usually described by their condition and previous contents. Grade names vary between suppliers, so ask the supplier who quotes you exactly what their grade means.
New Bottle
A new inner bottle fitted in a used cage. The contact surface has not held another product.
Cleaned
A used tote that has been rinsed or washed after its last use. Ask what it held before.
As Is
Sold as it came out of service. Usually the lowest-cost option, for buyers who clean it themselves.
Visible Wear
Working totes with cosmetic wear or staining, often used for water, waste or general storage.

Gaylord boxes, also known as bulk bins or pallet boxes, are large corrugated containers that sit on a pallet for storing and moving dry goods. The name comes from the Gaylord Container Corporation.
They are made from several layers of corrugated board, which keeps them strong while staying light. They are used for agricultural products, recyclables, manufactured parts and other bulk items.
Used gaylord boxes are sold in a range of conditions, from lightly used to boxes suited only to a single trip. The supplier who quotes you describes the condition of what they have.
